• 1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)
• 16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)
• DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver.(optional)

Extract the downloaded file (Windows 7 ISO file) and put it into a pendrive, and then directly run the windows 7 setup by clicking on the setup file.

If you want to use DVD to install windows 7, then,

Use Power ISO and put the files to a dvd / Extract the files using winrar and put it into a dvd.

Activating Windows 7:-

First make sure that you have uninstalled the KB971033 update from the automatic updates,

If you can't find that update, then don't worry. Please proceed further and run the activator.

Download the activator at:-

http://www.4shared.com/rar/xM3zspdT/RemoveWAT_2260.htm

Use Winrar to extract the files and open removewat.exe.

When you run removewat.exe, It should look like this:-  

Now, Click on "Remove WAT" and then after it is completed, restart your computer.

Then, your windows 7 will be activated.

To confirm that, right click on "My Computer" and click on properties.

There you can find that in the activation tab, stating that "Windows is activated"

Downloading and Installing Automatic Updates:-

You can turn on the automatic updates in your computer, but make sure that your windows doesn't install KB971033 update (Make an exception so that it doesn't download that update).

Installing drivers:-

Many people often have a doubt, that after installing windows 7, what about the drivers?

Well, if you have drivers given to you in dvd's or cd's, please use them and install the drivers.

If you don't have them, then don't worry, there are many online drivers installation softwares like drivereasy, slimdrivers etc, which automatically download and update your computer drivers.

Protecting your computer with antivirus:-

After you install windows 7, make sure that you don't install Microsoft Security Essentials antivirus. Because, if you install it, then your windows will be detected as non-genuine windows.

You can download any other antivirus. 

Please make sure that your computer is not infected by any type of malware, viruses.

Also, if you want, you can delete the activator once you have activated windows 7. 

Always keep your antivirus up-to-date.

As most of the computer users today use internet, I recommend them to use a good Internet Security antivirus.
